The City of South Fulton Mayoral & Council Work Session & General Meeting – May 9th, 2017
Mayor and council met in a small room behind the public council room (for lack of a better name) for their first work session. The room turned out to be too small to accommodate the public as there were over twenty people in the room with some standing and more standing outside the room into the hall.
It was an absolute delight to see council roll up their sleeves to dive-in and take care of business. It was also a welcomed sight to see them in their seats calling the session to order on time
Mayor Edwards look majestic as he kept the flow of the session on point and task which was an easy task to do as all of council was on point. The work session ended in approximately one hour.
The general public meeting was called to order promptly at 7PM and again, Mayor and Council was already seated, waiting on time.
There was a wonderful turnout from residents of every districts with standing room only.
During the “Comments from the Public” session, notables such as St. Rep Bazemore, St. Rep Bruce, Commissioner Arrington & former St. Rep Fludd addressed Mayor & Council followed by the residents in audience.
