Annetta Lorraine Fisher recently relocated to Unincorporated South Fulton County, Georgia from Northeast Ohio, upon retirement as Clerk of Court for the City of South Euclid Municipal Court. Prior to her appointment at South Euclid, she was Clerk of Court of the East Cleveland Municipal Court. During her stay in Ohio she served as the campaign Treasurer for seven judicial candidates who all won their elections, the Mayor of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and a candidate for The Cuyahoga County Executive.
Ms. Fisher has served as Executive Board Member for several organizations, including the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party, the Cleveland Branch NAACP, and the Ohio Municipal Clerk Association. She is a former Vice President of the North East Ohio Municipal Clerk Association. Additionally, Ms. Fisher served as Secretary of the Ward 11 Democratic Club, the Minority Organ Tissue Transplant Education Program, and the Hitchcock Center for Women. Ms. Fisher, a former Secretary, Treasurer, and Vice President of The Murtis Taylor Human Services System, remains a member of their board, currently supporting that eight agency system’s Finance Committee.
Since her relocation to Georgia , Ms. Fisher has been elected as a Democratic Party Post Seat Holder for Fulton County – District 6, and as Treasurer of the South Metro Democratic Women’s Council. She is also a member of the League of Women Voters.
Ms. Fisher, a member and former treasurer of Ohio’s Black Women’s Political Action Committee for over 30 years, holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, a Bachelor of Art Degree in Urban Studies, and an Associate Degree in Business Administration. Additionally, she is the proud mother of one daughter, Eliese, who also resides in Unincorporated South Fulton County.
