(Iron) Mike Taylor

Mike is originally from Cleveland Ohio and his wife, Kim is a “Georgia Peach” from Macon .  They have been a resident of the Cedar Grove Village subdivision since 2004.

They operate two online businesses known as “Take Back Your Temple” whose purpose is helping people lose weight the Godly way.  Their other online business is a Golf product review site.

As a former member of the Cedar Grove Village Coalition, Mike initiated and established a “Group Rate” program with E.E. Armour Protection and CLM Sanitation (who was later acquired by Waste Industries) to secure low and reasonable rates for the residents of Cedar Grove Village, which later became a model for these companies in other communities.

Mike completed the Fulton County Citizen University course and was a proponent for the “Unincorporated South Fulton City-Hood Campaign”.  He actively canvassed the area to help educate businesses and residents in an effort to secure their vote for becoming a chartered city in the state of Georgia.

Mike is an active deacon in good standing under the pastoral  guidance of Dr. Reginald P. Garmon at “The Word of Faith Love Center” located in East Point Georgia.

Mike is an avid golfer and is known by his golfing buddies as “Iron Mike Taylor” which has taken on a dual meaning.  First, because of his skill with a golf iron and secondly, because of his tenacious desire and efforts to see the positive conclusion of matters that affect the community and local government.

In addition to the documented responsibilities of a Cedar Grove Community Association Board Representative, Mike has assumed the responsibilities as the Cedar Grove Community Association Website Director.
